Correspondence Courses For Major Exam Preparations

The institutions that offer private coaching have now moved on to the next best way of earning money, the correspondence courses. These institutions print advertisements in leading newspapers all over the country and attract students from all corners of the nation. The advertisements are strategically located on the pages read by parents and can also be found in the magazines that are dedicated towards education.

The bulk of the advertisements include institutions that offer coaching for major exams like IIT, CAT, CET, AIEEE, NDA, BMS and other such competitive entrance exams. It's a great option for these institutions, as the students prefer to learn from the stalwarts, the biggies of the teaching profession.

Hence, many students enroll for these correspondence courses. The courses are not limited to only the basic curriculum; they also include extra topics from outside the syllabus. All the student has to do is to maintain the notes that he receives from these coaching institutions and regularly refer to them.

Another option offered by these classes is of the correspondence test series. These are a set of exams which are held periodically and regularly for the students who have enrolled. The test series can be a full test series or only a set of mock tests towards the advent of the exams. Most of the students prefer the latter, as they have joined a regular batch in order to prepare for these competitive exams. The test series gives an additional boost to their preparations. They are able to prepare in simulated conditions with these mock tests. Studies show that these students fare well as compared to the students who join only the regular courses. But the students who join only the correspondence courses are known to score lesser as compared to the regular batch students.
