Today, a person who has proper knowledge of English and who is fluent in speaking and writing in English is considered to be eligible for most of the jobs available. Such persons are preferred over the remaining candidates as they possess good communication skills. Hence, many people are now turning towards learning the English language.
There are many institutes which offer to teach English to prospective students or candidates. These institutes charge a small amount of money to the buyers of their material. They provide cassettes and CDs to the candidates who have enrolled and then they have absolutely no contact with the buyers. They sell these materials via call centers established all over India. They offer all the materials at the time of delivery itself and then they solve the doubts of the students via their employees placed at the call centers. The call centers are employing more and more people and this helps to improve the overall employment of the country.
Same is the case with the people willing to learn languages like French, Spanish, German, etc. The demand for these languages in India is fast increasing with the advent of multi national companies which have their base in European nations like France, Spain, Holland, Germany, Greece, etc. These are the countries where the demand for skilled professionals has increased and thus, they are willing to outsource their operations to foreign sources. To fill the communication gap, many people are now inclined towards learning these languages and such people are the ones landing plush jobs at the multi national companies. The people who have already learnt these languages are utilizing this boom to earn money by offering teaching services to prospective candidates.
